Founded with Quality foremost in mind
This is an exciting year at Penny’s Child Care and Learning Center and we would be delighted to have your child and your family join us.
We are licensed with the State of Texas' Department of Family and Protective Services and hold a permanent license to operate a quality preschool on site. Being a licensed preschool means that we maintain high quality standards and require additional training of our staff. All staff are required to complete 30 hours of Orientation to the Penny’s Child Care and Learning Center standards and be certified in Child C.P.R. and First Aid, a criminal background search and an FBI fingerprint check and they must complete an additional 24 hours of training annually.
The Director will be happy to answer any questions or discuss any concerns you may have with you concerning your preschool child. She is always available for conferences with parents of enrolled students. The Penny’s Child Care and Learning Center’s phone number is (972) 707-7430.
Mission Statement
At Penny’s Child Care and Learning Center, we strive to promote the physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of each child. We aim to provide a safe, supportive and nurturing atmosphere where all children are able to freely express their creativity.
Philosophy
Childcare is a very important extension of a child’s family and/or extended family. Daily interaction with loving, caring people at Penny’s Child Care and Learning Center can positively influence the child’s future. A flexible daily program responds to the needs and interests of the children individually and in group settings. Children who are encouraged to learn and develop at their own level gain confidence, learn to respect and appreciate the rights of others and become overall better citizens.
Organization
Penny’s Child Care and Learning Center is under the guidance of the Preschool Board. The board works in an advisory capacity to the Preschool Director. The Preschool Board is made up of the Preschool Director and the owners of the Penny’s Child Care and Learning Center. The Board meets monthly to review childcare records and to analyze and approve the budget.
